Household linen, Made in France : a commitment to quality

28 August 2024

Faithful to its values and commitments since its origin, Aigredoux has perpetuated a ‘savoir-faire’ of excellence in the manufacturing of prestigious household linen.

French quality

Bed linen, table linen, bath linen and accessories: all items are created in Aigredoux’s ateliers in Vendée, all while respecting the traditional textile know-how.

savoir-faire français

“Made in France craftsmanship”: the company has made this motto its spearhead, and participates daily in saving trades that have almost “disappeared”.

The Aigredoux team is trained in precise sewing gestures and advanced technicality. Each unique piece is worked on with passion, taste and dexterity in order to offer its customers the French quality that is internationally renowned.

A controlled manufacturing process

Aigredoux works with materials that have been rigorously selected for their quality and durability that meet strict specifications. From the design office to the shipping of materials, the entire production process is mastered, guaranteeing the reliability and quality of your products.

Process maîtrisé

Many hands touch the manufacturing process :

  • Design office,
  • Manual cutting,
  • Confection,
  • Assembly,
  • Finishing,
  • Ironing,
  • Quality control,
  • Packing and shipping.

Rigorous quality control

At each stage of the manufacturing process, checks are performed on 100% of the items.

Aigredoux carries out wear tests from thread to finished fabric (washing, drying, resistance, shrinkage, etc.) in order to offer a beautiful home linen to its customers.

Planning for tissue shrinkage

contrôle qualité

In its constant strive for quality, Aigredoux anticipates the shrinkage of its fabric so that after the maintenance of their linens, customers will retain products in accordance to their desired dimensions.

Tissue shrinkage is a natural phenomenon. The cotton flower is originally a ball, the fiber of which is stretched for weaving. When it comes in contact with water and heat, the ball attempts to return to its initial form, which explains a variation in length or width of the fabrics.
